Shoah Truths
Combating Holocaust denial and distortion through truth and justice
-
After visiting Poland in the summer of 2025, Abraham Waserstein began working with family and friends to respond to the Holocaust denial and distortion occurring in his grandfather’s hometown nearly 85 years after the Polish massacre of the Jedwabne Jewish community. As they built a worldwide coalition of advocates, educators, lawyers, and allies committed to confronting prejudice and hate, it became clear that victims of Holocaust denial and distortion needed coordinated, holistic support. From this recognition, Shoah Truths was founded.
-
Shoah Truths supports the translation of Holocaust testimony currently available only in Spanish into English through accredited translators. These translations are overseen by the organization to ensure accuracy and accessibility. By making survivor testimony available to broader audiences, these efforts advance Shoah Truths’ mission of amplifying the voices of survivors and ensuring their words live on to help build a better future.
-
Shoah Truths supports and organizes educational initiatives that inform the public about the dangers of Holocaust denial and distortion and the importance of preserving collective historical memory. Through programs, partnerships, and educational resources, we seek to equip students and communities in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and around the world with the knowledge needed to confront misinformation and safeguard the truth of the Holocaust.
-
Shoah Truths engages in community-based initiatives that foster dialogue, learning, and a shared commitment to confronting Holocaust denial and distortion. These efforts include hosting workshops on countering Holocaust denial and distortion, organizing community learning events, and collaborating with historians and other experts to preserve historical memory and truth.
-
Shoah Truths supports projects that preserve and honor the memory of Holocaust victims and survivors. This may include funding the design and creation of museum exhibits, commemorative memorials, and other initiatives that safeguard historical memory and help ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust endure for future generations.
-
Providing advocacy support to descendants of Holocaust victims whose families’ memory, honor, or reputation are targeted by Holocaust denial or distortion. This support may include funding legal action through local counsel to pursue civil or criminal remedies, as well as engaging experts to assist with strategic public responses and advocacy.
